Audition Notice!
Save the date for auditions for our February Cabaret, Love Found & Love Lost, at the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium.
Auditions are January 6 from 2-4:30pm.
For auditions, please prepare a monologue, written work, song etc. about love. The director is looking for a mix of pieces about all types of love; specifically pieces about self love, love of friends or family, romantic love and loss of love ( anger, jealousy, sadness etc). If you are singing with an instrumental track, please bring your phone with a way to play the music for the audition and we will play it through the sound system. If you would like to sing a solo for our group number ( optional) “L-O-V-E by Nat King Cole” please prepare to sing the first section of the song: “L is for the way you look at me, O is for the only one I see, V is very, very extraordinary, E is even more than anyone that you adore, Love is all that I can give to you. Love is more than just a game for two, Two in love can make it , Take my heart but please don’t break it, Love was made for me and you” at your audition in addition to your chosen piece. We will have an instrumental accompaniment track for you to sing with.
